So I actually have an art class this semester, which is pretty great. I am already learning a ton. I tend to work mostly from my imagination when making my art, so drawing realistic still lives is a big stretch for me. Here is an exercise he had us do in class to practice proportion and basic value (only using one level of shadow, like cartoon shading.). It's nothing special, but I was pretty happy with the results considering my experience with realism and still lives
